The Rare Impact Awards featured a memorable 40th Anniversary Celebration and was hosted in Washington D.C., the place where rare disease patients and families testified in front of Congress to pass the Orphan Drug Act in 1983. This special event celebrated NORD’s legacy and achievements, honoring the individuals and organizations who have been doing remarkable work on behalf of the rare disease community. The awards ceremony took place at the National Portrait Gallery on May 4, 2023.
